Queen’s Apartments is ideally located in one of central Belgrade’s most beautiful and tranquil parts. Lying just 200 meters from the city’s main pedestrian zone, Queen’s Apartments is around the same distance from famous Strahinjica Bana Street – renowned for its trendy bars and restaurants. The main shopping zone, museums and theatres are all within a short walking distance, as is the Serbian Parliament, Kalemegdan Fortress & Park, the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija and the Botanical Garden- making Queen Apartments an excellent base for a city break holiday or extended business trip.
Serbian Queen Draga (1861 to 1903), wife of King Aleksandar Obrenovic, the last king of the Obrenovic Dynasty, spent her maiden days in this house, which is why our apartments are called Queen’s Apartments. We restructurated the unit into an elegant residence with modern decor and styling, though preserving the original project of an idyllic place of privacy able to unify the atmosphere of the past with contemporary comfort.
