Knez Mihailova Street is named after Prince Mihailo Obrenovic, one of the most important rulers of the modern Serbian state. This is the main pedestrian street where the Belgradians like to loiter, shop, and drink an espresso (or two). The street is a buzz with local street musicians and do not miss the lovely stalls at the end where vendors sell souvenirs.
Also, along the street you can take pictures of the beautiful buildings and the facades of houses from the 19th century.
